Today I enjoyed a lovely day out with mumma to Bicester Village Designer Outlet, and Oxford city centre! A lot of window shopping followed seeing as most brands at Bicester are pretty high end, however I ended up picking up Clinique Clarifying Lotion for £12.50 instead of £16.50! I've been needing a new toner for a while since my Garnier Simply Essentials Toner has just run out. We had a lush breakfast at Pret A Manger while the village got a little busier, and I enjoyed a serious dose of rich people watching. So many sophisticated ladies munching elegantly on Pret sandwiches with lattes to go in their stilettos!!

After feeling decidedly poor browsing all the stores that were slightly out of our budgets, we journeyed into Oxford city centre where our budget was much more welcome! I've recently run out of Sephoras's 3 in 1 Micellar Water, which has lasted since last summer, and after seeing a few good reviews of Garnier Micellar Water in Boots with a 1/3 off the price, I decided to pick this up too.

The little Rimmel haul happened the other day when I saw my best friend for the first time in months and we went shopping! 3 for 2 offers are very dangerous for a shopper who is as easily-influenced as myself. I picked up Lasting Finish Colour Rush in 110 Make Me Blush , a similar offering to Revlon's Matte Balms. I've seen relatively little exposure of this product, but I've wanted to try a lip product similar to Clinique's Chubby Stick. I also bought Exaggerate Full Colour Lip Liner in 063 Eastend Snob as for some reason I've never got round to buying a lipliner, so i'm hoping this will help my lipstick to stay on for a bit longer! Finally I bought myself a new powder, Stay Matte Pressed Powder in 001 Translucent. I've seen numerous reviews of this and this is the first ever pressed powder I've tried; I've been a fan of loose powders for a long time but I wanted to try something new. I've used this twice already and it's brilliant at keeping shine at bay all day as well as keeping my complexion even.

Thoughts on my new purchases? Thanks for reading! xx
