The Perfect Lazy Weekend Breakfast with Pago Premium Juices

Since moving to London and settling into the classic 9-5 office grind, I've really come to look forward to lazy weekend mornings. There's something that feels so luxurious about waking up when you feel like it, rather than at the beckoning of a troublesome alarm.

My weekend ritual looks a little like this; I like to wake up slowly, and then head straight for the kitchen to make the perfect weekend breakfast. My absolute favourite is classic poached eggs, preferably on english muffins slathered with butter. Above I made my second favourite - cinnamon french toast, absolutely covered in peanut butter and jam. To be fair, I did make this after a 5k parkrun so I felt much more indulgent on this particular Saturday!

I adore flicking through my favourite monthly magazine, Red, or a much more digestible weekend magazine supplement such as You or Evening Standard Magazine whilst I sip on fresh coffee from the french press. It's the perfect moment for me to relax and go at my own pace before a weekend of activities.

Recently, I was sent an extremely generous crate of juice from the great team at Pago Premium Juices* to try with my lazy weekend breakfasts. I don't often drink juice because they tend to contain a lot of sugar, so when I choose to, it feels like a real luxury. They had plenty of flavours to choose from, and I love mango! And so, 12 adorable green bottles of mango juice dropped onto my desk to take home with me.

The design of the bottle reminds me of juice you might find at a continental breakfast buffet at a hotel, only adding to the cuteness factor! I would say that if you have a sweet tooth like me, this juice is great as an occasional treat, but I imagine for most the mango option would be too sweet, given that mango naturally has a sweeter flavour. Luckily, they have so many different flavours to choose from such as Blackcurrant, Cloudy Apple and even Tomato!

There really is nothing quite like having those quiet and peaceful moments on a Saturday morning to kickstart the rest of your weekend! Do you have any weekend rituals that give you joy? Tell me all about it! Thanks for reading.
