5 Friday Favourites

Hope you're all having a wonderful long weekend! I've had a week off in Spain, which has been pretty uninteresting, as I've been attempting to crack on with my dissertation and classwork. Regardless, we had some beautiful weather this week! Here are some things I've been loving this week:

1. My shiny new water bottle

5 Friday Favourites
I'm not gonna lie, this water bottle was an absolute bargain. What's sad however though that the seller doesn't send to the UK (I bought it on Amazon EspaƱa)! Which is such a huge shame because they sell this is in so many colours. I've been attempting to drink more water recently, as I constantly forget to during the day. I've been taking this around with me when I head to the library, or staying outside a long time. It's BPA free too.

2. Podcasts by Freakonomics
I got into listening to podcasts purely because of Stephen Dubner and Steven Levitt. A long time ago I read their two books, Freakonomics and Superfreakonomics and I was hooked. They make basic economics so accessible, by putting theories into real-life context and entertaining the reader at the same time.Similarly, I love their podcasts. They chat about topics that you could know or understand very little about, and make them interesting. I love listening to them when I'm cooking, or travelling. They open your mind to a way of thinking which is fresh, to the point and critical.

3. The 1975 - i like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it
Unless you've been living under a rock (or don't use Spotify), the band have a lengthy new album with an equally lengthy album title. It's a little different from their self-titled first album, with plenty of synth still there, but with added twists of 80's style pop and more emotion than before. Favourites are mine are UGH!, Paris, She's American leading single The Sound and Somebody Else.

4. Suits
I mentioned in this post about my new habit of controlled netflix binging. I cannot begin to tell you how much Suits has been trying my patience. I was incredibly late to the party, since it was put on Netflix back on 2010. A true testament to its popularity is that it continues to be on the most watched list of the Netflix page. It's everything I look for in a series - two strong main characters, well-dressed and beautiful people with complicated back stories and of course, plenty of drama. The set up is so slick and fast-moving, meaning I absolutely flew through the first three series. I'm hoping and praying they eventually put up the last two seasons on Netflix at some point!

Thanks for reading! What have you been loving this week?
