you give but you cannot take love | skincare purchases

Hello gallies, hope you're enjoying your week so far! Recently I've bought lots of shiny new toys to update my skincare routine, and thought I'd give a little round up of each new component.

And here are my beauties;

Pure Super Active Overnight Oil
When I saw this browsing the selection in the Marks and Spencer beauty hall, I was shocked at how cheap it was, £6! (especially on a student budget). However I'd read in different places online how effective this was so thought I'd give it a go. I've never used an overnight facial oil before so I found it a bit peculiar to see my face a bit greasy before going to bed. In the morning however my skin looked so much more even and clear! I've only used this twice so far, and even though the bottle looks pretty small, you only need three or four drops to cover most of the face so I can this lasting a while.

Quick Fix Facials Calming Clay Mask
I'll admit I've never heard of this brand at all before, but I was looking for a new weekly face mask for my sensitive skin (I hate my red cheeks), and luckily Boots had a 3 for 2 offer on a massive range of skincare, so took the plunge. I've only used this once so far, and straight after taking this off my skin actually looked redder temporarily, but my skin was so soft. Later however my cheeks had certainly calmed down a little, I've yet to see how much of a difference it makes in the long term.

No7 Beautiful Skin Melting Gel Cleanser
I'd had my eye on this product for a little while but kept dithering about whether to buy it or not, and I waited until I had one of those Boots vouchers that they always hand out at tills; I got a fiver off this! (I'm such a bargain hunter honestly) When I first tried this out I was a little sceptical because I thought the colour of the product looked a little odd, strange yellowy transparent. I'm so glad I bought this so, out of all the products I've definitely used this the most! It's so good at removing make up, and I often double cleanse to clear my skin and this makes my skin doubly soft. I'd definitely repurchase even without a voucher haha (and that's saying a lot).

Pure Super Active Moisturiser
I'm a massive fan of Pure's prices, this being 9.50 for a tub of moisturiser that seriously lasts! I have a feeling I've mentioned this already in another post, given that I'm on the same tub and I've barely scratched the surface of it. Sounds odd but I LOVE the smell of this, it reminds of Palmers Cocoa Butter but much cleaner and not as chocolatey! I'm awful at describing smells but I just can't put a finger on it. This stuff is so rich, and always leaves my skin looking clear and radiant in the morning. Cannot praise it enough.

REN Jojoba Microbead Purifying Facial Polish
I've similarly mentioned this before, I love using this! The microbeads are small enough not to aggravate your skin but effective enough that it feels like they're making a difference. A small amount is needed to massage your whole face so I've barely even used a quarter of this so far. As it is an exfoliant I wouldn't use this every day anyway, as it would be too harsh on my sensitive skin, however every other two days is enough to get all the dirt and keep my skin looking smooth.

So that's my round up! Hope you enjoyed this post, cheers xx
